01The first 14 days
Say so inside 14 days of the first charge if MediShield IT turns out not to suit your organization, and that opening month comes back to you whole. Nothing to fill in, no conversation to sit through, and no expectation that you used it at all. These are controls bought against a bad day. Stop wanting them and the charge should stop too.
02After the first month
Cancel at whatever point suits you. What ends is the automatic renewal. The month already bought stays yours and the services keep running until it runs out, rather than cutting off the instant you click. Part months are not divided up, save for two cases we settle without argument:
- Any situation in which the law gives you a right to be repaid.
- Any charge that was our mistake: a quantity we got wrong, an invoice raised twice, or a cancelled line that renewed anyway. Returned in full.
03What a refund does to protected data
A refund closes the service that money bought. Where recovery lines are involved, whatever was held under the ended subscription is removed on the deprovisioning timetable our platform vendors operate, and under the Business Associate Agreement. If you still need anything from a protected copy, retrieve it before cancelling. Ask, and the line stays open long enough for you to finish, a request we have yet to turn down.
Ending a monitoring line ends the monitoring immediately at the close of the paid period. The detection and case history generated while it ran remains available to you for the period described in the Privacy Policy, because you may well need it later even though the service has stopped.
04How to request one
Write to support@medishieldit.com from the address on the account, quoting the receipt or invoice number. Money goes back by the route it arrived on, and how quickly it appears is a matter for your bank, usually somewhere inside two weeks.
